Successful UDRP Case - fiabrussels.com

If a domain name is not renewed it runs the risk of being registered by an unauthorized party. If this happens there are ways to recover the lost domain. One of these methods is the UDRP.

The International Automobile Federation (FIA) lost the domain fiabrussels.com which was then registered by an individual and used as a blog. The UDRP panelists found that the domain name infringed on FIA’s trademark and that the blogger was using the domain in bad faith.
